Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

How do I get my password?

If you have previously entered a secret question you can have a new password automatically sent to your CSU email account.  The link is on the log-in page (under the log-in boxes).  To learn how to set your secret password, view the CougarVIEW News item on passwords (on the CougarVIEW log-in page), or visit the Online Support Center (OSC).  If you've never filled out a secret question, then you must follow the instructions on the OSC in order to reset your password.  There is a different link for this on the log-in page which will take you directly to the OSC article on password resets.  You can also view the information HERE.

How do I make sure my computer is configured properly for a successful CougarVIEW experience?

You can check your browser by using the 'Browser Checker' link above and follow the instructions by downloading and installing any recommended plug-ins.  Then, if you are still having problems, follow the steps HERE.
